Facials & Skin Care

Glow-boosting treatments for every skin type

Cleansing, extractions and treatment built around what your skin is actually doing, not a fixed menu.

A facial here starts with looking at your skin rather than picking a package. Congestion, dryness, sensitivity and pigmentation all want different handling, and the same person needs different things in February than in July. So we talk first, then decide what the session is going to be.

Most treatments follow the same spine. A double cleanse to get makeup and sunscreen off properly, exfoliation chosen to suit how reactive your skin is, steam to soften the follicles, extractions where they are needed, then a mask and a finishing layer suited to what came out of the previous steps. Extractions are the part people dread, and they are also the part that makes the difference, so we work slowly and stop when the skin has had enough rather than pushing to clear everything in one visit.

If you are already threading with us, the two work well together in one appointment. Threading before a facial means the brow area is clear before anything is applied, and the cool compress at the end takes care of both. It is also the most efficient use of a lunch break we have found.

Tell us what you are using at home before we start. Retinol, acids, benzoyl peroxide and anything prescribed for acne all change what your skin can take that day, and a treatment that would be fine otherwise can leave you red and peeling if we do not know. There is no judgement in it. We would simply rather adjust than repair.

How often is worth being realistic about. Every four to six weeks tracks the skin's own renewal cycle and is what makes a visible difference over a few months. One facial before an event is pleasant and will not change anything structural, and we would rather tell you that in advance than let you expect otherwise. What you do the other twenty-nine days matters more than what we do in the chair, so expect us to talk about your routine at home.

Because what a session needs varies so much, we quote facials individually rather than publishing a flat rate. Call or text, describe what your skin is doing, and we will give you a straight price before you come in.

What to expect

How the appointment goes

  1. Skin consultation

What your skin is doing, what you are putting on it, and anything prescribed. This decides the rest.

  2. Cleanse and exfoliate

A double cleanse, then exfoliation chosen for how reactive your skin is that day.

  3. Steam and extractions

Follicles softened, then extractions worked gradually and stopped before overworking.

  4. Treat and protect

Mask, serum and a finishing layer chosen for what the skin needs afterwards.

Afterwards

  • No makeup for the rest of the day if you can manage it.
  • Pause retinol and acids for 48 hours.
  • Sunscreen every morning, and particularly the week after.
  • A few small blemishes surfacing over the next two days is normal after extractions.

Questions

Asked and answered

Both depend on what you are after, so we quote them individually rather than publishing a flat rate. Call or text and describe what you have in mind and we will give you a straight price before you come in.

It is the gentlest option we offer, which is why people with rosacea, eczema, or skin that reacts to wax tend to switch to it. Because there is no heat and nothing adhering to the skin, threading does not lift the top layer the way waxing can. If you use retinol, acids, or acne medication, tell us before we start so we can work around it.

Walk-ins are welcome and most brow appointments are done in well under fifteen minutes. Ring ahead if you want a specific time, and please do book ahead for lash extensions or a facial, which need a longer slot. The salon line is a landline, so if you would rather text, use the mobile number.
